Question How many VA for Desktop computer with 550W PSU required for editing 4K video

I am trying to edit 4K video on my desktop computer with 550W PSU but the external 1000VA power regulator shuts down without warning. I had thought the problem was due to irregular power supply. But could it be the computer is drawing more power than the regulator can supply, causing the regulator to automatically shut down due to overloading? Or is this not likely?

What are the specs of your PC and what powersupply do you have?

Also I've never heard of a power regulator in this context so also link its specs.
