How many volts is too many?

Hello,
When i look at the bios on the asus p9x79 the voltage under the 12v is reading 12.179 and the bar is almost 90% full is that a problem? the rest of the reading are spot on for 3.3v, and 5v, im using a CORSAIR Professional Series HX850. Just dont want to burn out any components i dont do any overclocking.

Hello !

It is nothing to worry about. It's only 1.5% off, which is normal for the 12V. It always is the less stable voltage, especially under a very small load.

Thank you! yeah its a very small load i got the 850 for another GPU in the future, so im only running aorund 600watts

al360 is correct. To expand a little, ATX12V specificies that the 12V, 5V, and 3.3V must be within +- 5% of the rated voltage.
