First things first, I know there's a calculator out there which tells you how many watts you will need to run a computer, but I found it quite confusing, and it didn't seem to give me the information I was expecting (I know nearly nothing about PSUs).

Okay, so, here's my set up excluding a case and a PSU):

HDD: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136767

GFX Card: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150516

Mobo: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813138325

RAM/CPU: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.695739

Here's the case/PSU combo I was looking at:

However, after reading several negative reviews about the PSU, I don't think I want to go with that one. Any suggestions would be great.

Well I'm running a similar setup to you with the Antec 380w PSU, but I'd recommend the bigger brother to start with.
Antec EarthWatts Green EA-430D Green 430W Continuous power ATX12V v2.3 / EPS 12V 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply
That would be the lowest I'd go with your setup. If you want a bit of upgrade room on the PSU, try this:
Antec EarthWatts EA-500D Green 500W ATX12V v2.3 / EPS12V 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

If you stick with Antec/Seasonic/PCP&C/Corsair PSU's you should be just fine. I'd recommend any of them at 400w or better for your setup.

i wouldn't go lower than a 550w from a good manufacturer, however I'd just get one of the around 600w ones. Look for antec, corsair, seasonic, or silverstone. A psu is the last place you want to cut corners, poor system stability or worse can happen real easy with the bargain ones.

These PSUs look great, however, I'm in Canada and will be ordering from newegg.ca, and they're a bit more expensive there.

having said that, I was looking at this one:

How does that look?

Cool, I think I'll go with the 500W Antec, it'll save me a bit of cash with the free shipping and lower cost. Thanks!
