I was going to buy the XFX Radeon R9 380 DD 2GB, but I have heard that it is a power-hungry card. So I wondered if a Seasonic S12II-520W is enough.
Rest of planned specs:
Intel Core i5 6500
MAtx Mobo
2x4GB DDR4 RAM
SSD and a HDD
520W will be enough for R9 380, but I would advise you to get 4GB Vram model instead of 2GB because you won't be able to play games such as GTA V on all max video settings with 2GB vram...

I wont be playing GTA V on Max. Im going to play on 1920x1080 at high/ultra, not max.
high/ultra is max... I'm saying this for future games as well, the ones that will be vram hungry. 4GB should be enough, 2GB won't be enough for certain games but as you wish.. Check the prices, if the price difference isn't too big between 2gb and 4gb version I'd take 4GB. Also xfx isn't that good GPU but I guess it's the cheapest brand on the market so if you're on a budget then ok
PS: If you must choose 2GB then I'd rather buy R9 280X Dual-X or Tri-X Toxic Sapphire are best models, but even XFX model will be faster than XFX R9 380 2GB
A XFX Radeon R9 380 DD needs at least 28 amps on the 12v+ rail and at least a 500 watt power supply , with 2 - 6pin PCIE power connections , the S12II-520W PSU meets the requirements.
Proofy, I have done research. The R9 380 2GB is much cheaper than a R9 280X where I am buying. But the R9 380 4GB is around 37$ (300NOK) If you want to know where I am buying from: www.proshop.no
