How many years it will take for games supporting hyperthreading or more than 4 cores?

I want to buy i5 4690k.
but I m eager to know when will the game starts to support hyperthreading or more than 4 cores.
If thats the case I will either buy a budget fx 8350 or a pricey i7 4790k.

I think there's a game or two out there that already supports hyperthreading... but you would like to buy FX or i7? Must you be so dull? Look what I've got - its cheap and it games just fine!

Intel i7 series have 4 physical core
but i can handle 2 threads per core.
That make it 8 core processor.
thats call hyperthreading
