Question How much amount of SSD memory is it possible to put in a Asus UX430UA?

How much amount of a SSD is it possible to uppgrade a Asus UX430UA with? It doesn´t say anything on the webbsite or so. Can i manage to figure out some way to find the maximum limit of some how? Thanks!

there is no limit on what capacity drive can go in the m.2 slot.

you just need to check whether it is pcie 3/4/5 and what size it is (2280 usually )then get whatever capacity you wish to add.

just making sure you are not mixing up the terms.

you mean size of a storage disk or the amount of RAM in the system?

No I meant memory as "space" SSD . The Asus support told me that they dont have any specifications on what the motherboard can handle but they´ve know that people installed 1TB of SSD card and it´s working. My questions is if it´s possible to install , let´s say a 2TB SSD card.

Could the motherboard handle it ? I just uppdated the BIOS system so that part is fixed.

So you'll need SATA M.2 drive. Not NVME/PCIE.
Samsung 860 evo M.2 or Crucial MX500 M.2 - for example.

i have never heard of any m.2 slot having a size limitation. until you asked i had not even considered it as a thing.

no reason to spend money just to spend more money later. i'd get that 2 TB drive if that's what you want and just be done with it. the models listed above would be great options i'd def consider.
