Question how much better is the evga 2080 than the evga1070ti sc black edition

I have an acer predator x34 monitor ryzen 2700x and currently have the 1070ti. would i see much of a difference if i upgrade to a 2080.

3440x1440? Yes, you'd see a decent difference between a 1070TI and 2080. Outside to raytracing, you're seeing ~1080TI performance levels....

Ultimately, it's an improvement, just not particularly substantial improvements. If the 1070TI is still serving you well, I don't really see much need to upgrade given the cost.
