My current GPU is a Radeon HD 2600 Pro 512MB, and I'm buying a 650 ti. How much better of a GPU is it? Yes, I know. Old generation. Might as well build a new PC, well I am, but I want this PC to be the best as it can before I build a new one and the best my board can support is a 650 ti

Will a 1gb 650 ti still be good? I sort of already bought it xD

Its just fine. You wont run into any problem if you just run at 1920x1080p (or lower) on medium / high settings with now days games

Alright, thank you. You seem quite knowledgable. Would you mind if I asked your opinion on my plans for my next build?

The best my board will support is a 650 ti

thats a really good spec. Just be ware that not all games support SLI so your gpu's may perform as 1 gpu will, but else really beast rig. Nice cpu cooler aswell. Just abit better than mine :)

You could save a little bit of money by sticking with an 8GB kit of RAM and a decent 600-650W PSU if you're not gonna SLI in the future and opt for a GTX 770 instead of the 760

Other than that, excellent choices

he is running sli in that spec

Mobos are quite cheap as well if you can save for one.

Eh, I'm building a new PC soon so I won't put anymore money into this than I have to.

4gb is if your going to be dual monitering. 2gb is more than plenty lol, unless your talking about resolutions beyond 1080p??

Woops didn't see the x2, 4GB is definitely recommended for multi displays (resolutions above 1080p) since two 2GB cards would still be using 2GB

Two 760s are more powerful than a single 780 so you should be fine, would be great if you could fit two 770s into your budget though

This gentleman I spoke to said 760s have the best $ to power so I'll stick with them. I need to save a bit of money for a nice big SSD
