How much can i overclock my 1070ti and o i need it really?

Hello , i did a +240 core and +430 mem and i did some benchmarks and it was stable for like 30-40m , so my question is do i really neet to overclock it so much , i meen +150 core to get 2k mhz its fine to or do i squeeze the last drop of it and get higher to reach +280?? +300??

As long as temps are kept in check, I say go for it!! Do you need to: probably not, but why not. Temps of 50-53* is good. My non ti 1070 with a +170ish/+250 runs at about 70 while gaming.

If you are already happy with minimum/average frame rates, and not struggling to meet 144 FPS minimums, etc....why overclock if the difference is not noticeable?
