How much can I overclock my CPU?

I am going to be changing from an AMD A8-5600K to an I7 4770K. I currently have a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO to cool my CPU. I am planning on OCing my 4770k, but I don't know how much to overclock it. Also, can the 212 EVO handle the 4770k? Or do I buy another cooler like the Corsair H110 or H100i? Thanks.

The Hyper 212 cools a 4770K up to 4.4 when running 24/7, if only running during the day or whatever, then it's perfectly fine, else might look at a Phantek or I went with the CM GTS V8 as my 4770K runs 4.6 24/7
