As the title says, I'm just wondering how much cooler my CPU will be with a Cryorig H5 compared to the intel stock cooler. I'm also looking for some opinion on wether I should get a Deepcool Captain EX red/black or the Cryorig H5. To be honest I just love the deepcool aesthetically but not sure if I can justify the price if the H5 can perform similarly.

I have an intel i7 4790.

Thanks for your time!

The Cryorig H5 would serve its purpose for your i7-4790. The Deepcool AIO is more on looks (as you won't be needing liquid cooling for that CPU of yours).

Tests by TweakTown show that the Cryorig H5 can go below 30*C below what the Intel Stock Cooler can do at stock loads (that's using an i7-4770K, non-OC'd)...
