How much could a battery live with an I5 4210H

So, that's the question. I'm looking for a decent laptop mainly for collegue, but it will sometimes get some "heavy" work such as photoshop or gaming. Most apealing options I've seen till now include I5 5210H, as it's known to be stronger than the "u" and "m" series. Still, I know they draw much more battery than those, so I'd like to know how much does an average battery last with an "H" processor, just using light apps like WORD or PDF. I've read 2-4 hous but looks too little to me.

when you look at battery life you have to look at the video chipset and the screen size too. you can have an low wattage cpu but all your power saving would go out the window with a large screen and a gaming gpu.

I'm mostly looking for 720p 15,6" laptops, so that shouldnt be a problem here. I'm also looking for 940/950 330m GPUs >_<

The usual battery times are given for workloads such as word processing and opening documents. As a rule of thumb I'd divide that by 4 for a rough min game time

For writing essays/notes and doing other comparable things, sure. Just remember to change the power profile, if you have integrated graphics on whatever cpu the laptop comes with (alongside a dedicated card) it's likely there is a setting to turn off the standalone card for power saving mode
