How much could i overclock my cpu?

hi. i overclocked my CPU.
my cpu is :
Pentium dual core E5500 2.8Ghz 2.8Ghz
and my motherboard is :
Gigabyte P41T-D3
...
i overclocked it from 200Mhz bus speed to 240Mhz with max multiplier of x14.
the cpu temp is now about 40-50 Celsius...Also my CPU and GPU temp went at 74 Celsius when stressing...i dont think that is normal...
is that normal? if it is, How much more can i overclock it without any problems?

40-50 C CPU is not bad. If you start entering 70 territory I would stop there. GPu temp is a bit high but I would need more information on that.

+1 to aj. I just want to add that if you overclock, please ensure you invest in good ventilation/cooling. You don't want things to overheat and damage components (I already lost my $300 graphics card, my 2tb seagate boot drive, and a now audio-less motherboard - requiring a sound card) due to forgetting to install my front intake fans xD
