how much could i overclock

I have a amd fx8350 and a corsair h75 water cooler. I am going to overclock the cpu and I'm wondering how much I could overclock it.

That all depends on the rest of your system and the quality of the chip.

I have an 8350 that could OC to 4.7Ghz solid. I, however, keep it at 4.6Ghz with the Bus OC'd a bit. I have a Corsair H80i cooling it and a Corsair GS700 powering it on a Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD5 motherboard.

Probably not that much. The H75 has a very small radiator. You also would need a very robust motherboard even if you had a better cpu cooler. Some people say they get so and so as an overclock. But when they fire up Prime95 their computer freezes up. You want a stable 24/7 overclock.

If you have the motherboard and good cooler then you can hit roughly 4.5-4.9Ghz. There is no guarantee as its all in how the quality of your chip is and how you OC the chip in combo with everything else. I have an H80i that cools an 8350 with no problem.
