Looking to build a mini itx pc! Change things up! It’s still a pretty high end build!

•RAM: Trident Z Royal 3200; 4, 8GB sticks (32GB)

•4 Corsair ll120 fans

You drinking? That list has the GTX 1080 @$900(more than they were new) it's worth nowhere near that.

Similar systems are selling for $800-$1000 on ebay.

I added up all used components and came out with about 1700$ from eBaying everything. You think it’s less than that? I mean this is a pretty high end system still and it’s about 2 years old

So you might get more parting it out. Anybody whom would spend $1700 on that is nuts. $1700 would get you something faster, new and with warranty.

This is ludicrous. Nobody's paying $1700 for a used PC for the same price they can buy a much superior new one.

This is not a $16,000 PC. Not even if these parts are new.

Used parts, depending on desirability, lose about 25-40% of value to comparable performing new parts. The parts that lose the least price used are ones that are very specific parts that are platform specific (like MBs and CPUs if the parts are good).

If this was parted out, the original poster might get $1000 if they're lucky. Selling as one single unit, probably less.

You can try to sell it for as much as you want. It matters not what value the seller thinks it has, only what a buyer is actually willing to pay for it. This is true for anything you buy/sell, not just pc components. I agree parting it out may yield the best total but it will be more hassle dealing with multiple buyers, shipping this here, that there...ugh. Good luck.
