Hi.

I was trying to discover how much dedicated memory my graphic cards have, but I'm somewhat confused.
I found how much dedicated memory the Intel Graphics HD 4000 have, but I don't know where to find the dedicated memory of NVIDIA GeForce. I had opened the msinfo32.exe, as recommended somewhere in internet, but this (see the second printscreen) don't lead me to any conclusion. NVIDIA GeForce have 1GB of graphic memory? And in this case,it's entirely dedicated or entirely shared or anything else? Where could I find this information? Thanks!

"Shared Memory no"

The Intel HD Graphics can use up to 2 GBs of your RAM as graphics memory, and always has at least 64mbs dedicated to it.

The 640m has 1 GB of dedicated Vram, but it likely only turns on when you run a 3d application, and it will cap out at 1 GB.

In either case, the 640m is pretty bad for any type of 3d game.

Third world problems, it was really expensive here haha. I just want to play 'old' games (AOE, The Sims, Silent Hill2), I hope it's enough. :p Thanks anyway! :D
