Ok well I just bought the powercolor 7870 myst edition and also picked up a S2440L 24" monitor and ordered a benq 24" gaming monitor as well.

I only plan on using the gaming monitor to play games and use the ips monitor as the 2ndary, browse the web monitor while game. But will running dual monitors of those size effect the performance even a slight bit?

Also, since i got both tomb raider and bioshock for free, I plan on eventually connecting my computer to my 50" plasma. Will playing the games on a big screen like that also effect my pc's performance?

PC:
- i5 3570k (plan on overclocking when my 212 evo gets in)
- ASrock z77 extreme 4 mobo
- Crucial Ballistic 16GB DDR3 (4GB x 4)
- 120gb SSD and 500GB seagate
- 700w Rosewill PSU
- and more

The size in inches is irrelevant, the only performance difference is resolution. But running a monitor is likely to see no difference in performance simply because it takes very little effort. This is why older, much weaker gpus can run monitors just fine.
