How much do I have to OC the 7950 to match 7970 at stock?

Hi, does anyone know, approximately, how much I have to overclock the 7950 to match the stock speed of 7970?

Since the reference clock of 7970 is 925 / 1375 Mhz, do I just have to OC to those clocks?

There's more to it than just the clocks. Some cards, like the 7850, you can OC to match the next tier up. I'm not sure if thats the case with the 7950 or not though.
Basically I'm just saying no, you might be able to match it but you'll have to OC higher than the 7970 clocks.

Not sure exactly how much, but I know for sure that the 7950, at least the sapphire vapor-x, easily overclocks past the reference 7970 in terms of performance

im just going to guess by benchmarks but... so someone correct me if im wrong. a bone stock amd 7970 running at 925mhz, then a 7950 running at about 1100mhz will match it. a 7970ghz edition running at 1050 can be matched by a 7950 running at about 1250.
