What are the electricity costs?
This depends on where you live and the particular average wattage of your computer on a daily basis and more importantly which power supply you are using. If you are in the US I could guess that it would be anywhere between 1-5 dollars a day.

Depends on electricity costs and system power draw.

Generally in the us, its not a ton.

At my rate of 20c/kWh, say 8 hours a day peak load, 500w gaming consumption (measured via killawatt meter) it costs me 80 cents per day.
Thats assuming 8 straight hours of full gaming load, in reality its probably closer to 40 cents per day.

In So-Cal where I live it costs 24 cents per kWh on tier 1 then up to 40 cents per hour on tier 2. I go up a tier to a higher cost if I use too much in that given month. This topic is at minimum interesting to talk about.

Yeah the basic math is super easy, but once you get into tier pricing as well as peak vs off hour pricing, it can get much more complex.

Also, the efficiency ratting of the power supply as compared to what it is actually drawing from the wall you can calculate the amount of wasted wattage when converting to and from AC and DC.
