In my current build i got:
i3-4130 processor hyperthreated dual core running at 3.40ghz
8GB (2x4gb) 1600mhz
GTX 960 msi gaming 2GB

When im playing GTA V i got some constant 68-70 fps, they maximum reach 80(multiplayer) and 120(singleplayer) but at their laggiest moments they can come down to 47-50. Im thinking about buying a i5-4440, so i wanted to know how much fps would increase if i get that new cpu, all answers are appreciated!

I recently went from an i3 4170 to i5 4590 so this is speaking from experience. I would say it helps your overall FPS A LOT depending on how you look at it. I say that because it gets rid of that awful CPU bottlenecking in the city, but your FPS only maybe goes up 4-5 elsewhere. With my R9 390, all cores on my i3 spiked to 100% in the city leaving me with 60% GPU usage. With the i5, my CPU usage hits 90% occasionally but doesn't bottleneck the GPU anymore. Solid 95-100% GPU usage all the time.

All on high/max settings:
FPS in desert with i3: 79
FPS in desert with i5: 84
FPS in city with i3: 32
FPS in city with i5: 59
Minimum FPS in city with i3: 9 FPS
Minimum FPS in city with i5: 41 FPS
Average CPU usage with i3 (each core): 92% 76% 84% 67%
Average CPU usage with i5 (each core): 72% 64% 69% 60%
