[SOLVED] How Much Heat can 2.5" HDD Tolerate?

I'm planning on placing a 7mm 2.5" HDD under the backplate of a graphics card. The graphics card's fans will be face-up, and the distance between the HDD and the backplate will be 5-10mm.

Let's say that the graphics card is 2080 Ti. I will be running the card at stock, I will be water cooling the card, and I will be undervolting it, so temperatures will be much lower than average air cooling.

Is it a good idea?

Solution
No, that is not a good idea.
The environment under the GPU backplate is probably warmer than you think. And hotter than what a spinning drive wants to be.

The GPU temp you may read is for that chip only. Not the hot air living in that space.

Also, the microvibrations from the GPU fan.

I wouldn't.
