How much I can upgrade my Gateway LT4004u laptop?

I have a gateway lt4004u and i am trying to make it into my mini badass laptop. i want to upgrade the processor and graphics card but i dont know the limits. for example it say the ram limits are 2 gb but i put 4gb ram into it. What is my real limit before screens fry and batteries blow?

Pretty much none. The CPU is soldering to the board nd the gpu is built into that. It only supports 2GB RAM.
