Hi everyone, I have been lurking toms hardware for some time now and decided to make my first post.
1) First thing I want to know is how much I should sell my build for if I where to do so now.
2) Should I sell my current build or upgrade?
3) If I were to upgrade what need to be my first step? (As in what needs the upgrade first)

This is mostly for gaming and I mostly play high demanding games, my most recent are DayZ, Rust, Civ 5

Thank you to anyone who is willing to help me out.

Here is my build
> Mainboard : Gigabyte GA-880GM-USB3
> Processor : AMD Phenom II X6 1090T @ 3200MHz (No OC)
> Physical Memory : 16384MB (4 x 4096 DDR3-SDRAM )
> Video Card : ATI Radeon HD 5800 Series
> Hard Disk : Corsair Force 3 SSD ATA Device (60GB)
> Hard Disk : Western Digital WD3200AAKS-00UU3A0 ATA Device (320GB)
> DVD-Rom Drive : Optiarc DVD RW AD-7260S
> Network Card : Realtek Semiconductor RTL8168/8111 PCIe Gigabit Ethernet Adapter
> Operating System : Windows 7 Home Premium Home Edition

I wouldn't expect much. Maybe a couple hundred.

To be completely honest, the only 2 decent things in your build (for current standards) are the OS and the Processor. Granted, it will play games on low/med, I wouldn't expect much more as games become more and more demanding.

I'd likely go with a new build.

To be honest, this is a $300 computer at best if you sell it as a whole depending on which GPU that is.

You could get more for it if you part it out.

Depending on if your motherboard is revision 3.1 or not, you can update the BIOS and use a new FX series CPU. If it is 1.x revision, you cannot upgrade the CPU which is getting long in the tooth for high end gaming.

The GPU will need to be upgraded as well.
