Hey,

I've been noticing that my pc is getting slower and slower and I now want to get a new pc. I was wondering if I should sell all my parts or if I should upgrade my pc.

These are my specs:

-Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
- Intel Core i3 2120 @ 3.30GHz Sandy Bridge 32nm Technology
- Gigabyte Technology Co. Ltd. B75M-D3H (Intel Core i3-2120 CPU @ 3.30GHz)
- 8192MBATI Radeon RX 480 Graphics (MSI)
- 223GB KINGSTON SV300S37A240G (SSD)
- 931GB Seagate ST1000DM003-1ER162 (SATA)
- TSSTcorp CDDVDW SH-224FB
- Realtek High Definition Audio

Next to the main question I would also like to know how much these parts are worth.

Thanks in advance!

Solution
Agreed, as long as the PSU is ok I would dump the CPU/MB/Memory and grab a AMD Ryzen 2600/B450 & at least 8gb (dual channel) @3000/3200mhz. Doing so will give all new life to that system and will easily handle more CPU intensive games.

Funny enough, Newegg had an add out today for a refurbished Dell with that proc just over $100.

I would consider following the above advice about a new CPU/Mobo/RAM combo. Would register your copy of Win10 to your Microsoft account so that you (should be) able to move it to the new machine, and then would retire the old proc and mobo so that no one else can mess your Windows install up through the entitlement. A legit copy of OS would cost more than you can get for those parts.

Dude, is not really necessary. You just need to get a upgrade for that pc and will satisfy your needs 100%.
All you need to do is:
-Upgrade to an i7 2600
-Clean you pc, reapply the thermal paste
And you're pretty much readdy to go. At least in my opinion.
Good luck!
