How much is my server worth?

Hello

I have been passed down a Dell Poweredge 2800 server with the following specs:

2 XEON Processors
12GB Infineon RAM
6 Maxtor 300GB HDD
2 930w Power Supplys
1 Ultra320 SCSI adapter with 128Mb RAM - (I'm lead to believe after a quick google)
1 stick of 256MB samsung raid RAM

Is this server worth any money as im looking to sell it?

A quick ebay search has them at between $500-$1000

Poweredge 2800s on E-Bay have sold for $300 to $500. That is a pretty complete package so it should be toward the higher end. BUT it is still a 10 year old device so there won't be a lot of interest. If you want to sell it quickly you will have to be on the lower end of pricing. Depends on how long you want to wait to sell.
