Question How much memory should my pc be using when idle?

just a question, when i have nothing major open on my pc my memory percentage is about 18%. is this right? could be the reason im getting lag spikes/frame drops in games. i have 16gb of ram btw. cheers

with 16Gb i'd think 4Gb would not be unusual, it'll scale with the amount of memory you have so that it has as much as possible ready to go.
