looking to buy memory sticks for this 2009 model from ebay.
it has 32 bit not a 64 bit model
has 3.00 GB of memory, seems that is not enough
PC works great to a point, then slows down, then freezes..i then have to run utilities from Norton and clean it up, then it it will run, till I inject too much stuff at one time..
Memory sticks are avaiable on ebay and Amazon...just don't want to spend more than PC is worth..

Hello,

Dell OptiPlex supports upto 8GB (if it has 4 slots) or upto 4GB ( if it has 2 slots - USFF models only). You can add another 2GB to the existing or add 6GB more to the existing based on the number of slots. Take note that when you add above 4GB you will need a 64Bit OS (Windows).

Best Memory: 2GB PC2-6400...
OptiPlex 760 Small Form Factor has four memory slots located below the power supply unit and removal of the hard drive is not necessary to add or remove memory modules.
The motherboard supports a maximum memory of 8GB (667-MHz, 800-MHz DDR2 SDRAM) with an 64 Bit OS
