How much of a performance boost will/should I see here?

I have a Dell PC with the stock 360W PSU and Radeon 4850 video card.

It's being replaced with a Coolermaster 500W PSU and a Radeon 6750 video card.

How much of a performance boost in 3-D gaming should I see with the 6750?

The upgrade is being performed for free (warranty service, the PSU and video card bought the farm), so I wasn't going to argue about it.

I'd be into upgrading the video card further, but my budget is limited for that to about $100-125...could stretch a TOUCH more possibly if it were really worth it. What's the best card I can get in that range that the 500W PSU can handle?

The system is a Dell 435MT, 6GB RAM, 750GB HD, one multi-drive (CD/DVD reader/writer)

My CPU is a i7-920.

The card looks good, but it's a touch outside my price range, when you figure in taxes and shipping.

What's the best I can do in my price limitations?

@ OP, you didn't mention anything about your gaming resolution.
I saw in the original post that you said 3D, are you going to play 3D gaming ?
If so, none of the mentioned cards will serve you well, and some of them are not 3D capable.

And the 5750/70 performs much better than HD 4850, GDDR5 is generally faster than GDDR3, but as said above not a huge performance... it's like 20% gain.
