Guys,Out of curiosity can u tell me How much % performance difference between 2X4GB 1333 and 1600mhz?Would its performance noticeable with this type of rig
PRO:i5 3470
GPU:7850 2gb and also in 7770
Monitor 18.5 led
as i m a normal gamer.will i notice it in my gaming time?will % increase if ram size gets big such as 32GB or 16GB?
Sorry for BAD ENGLISH

The difference in speed is not going to make a big difference in most applications/games. However, with the price or RAM as it is now. I think the difference is only a few dollars, so I would go for 1600MHz if possible. The speed rating really comes in handy when you are overclocking and gives you more room to play.

I don't think any gaming machine needs more than 8GB. You need to have VERY memory heavy applications if need more than 8GB. Video and large photo editing or running virtual machines usually is a reason for 16GB or more.

If you are currently running 1333MHz RAM there is no reason to upgrade to just for the speed.

Yea it is a negligible difference in real world apps. I own Kingston HyperX Blu 1333mhz, and a set of HyperX genesis 1600mhz, I have tried them separately, I cannot tell the difference and there is a .04 difference in cinebench.

if you have 2 sets of 1333 and 1600 and there both cas 9 then the 1600 will be about 2% faster. if however you can run the 1600 at 1333 with lower cas of 7 then the 1600 mhz ram will be about 5% faster than the ddr3 1333 cas9 ram.

if you can get both down to cas 7 then go for the cheapest as there will be zero real world difference
