Hi all,

I know that Intel doesn't benefit that much relatively compared to Ryzen when it comes to ram.
However, I still wonder how much of an increase in performance that Intel would benefit?
Because everybody says not much, but then how much is not much?

I'm considering going from 2400 mhz ddr4 ram (current setup) to 4000+ mhz ddr4 ram.

My specs:
i7 8700k @ 5.2 ghz
32gb ADATA XPG 2400 mhz ram
strix 2080 o8g
msi z370 A-pro motherboard
evga 280 clc aio
850w evga g2 psu

Thanks for advising guys!
(P/S: money is not an issue because for this thread I'm mainly interested in learning about the performance gain instead of whether it's worth it money-wise :p)

No, it is well-proven that the sweet-spot for recent fast i7 is 3200MHz to 3600Mhz (for gaming in systems with high end GPUs). Search Youtube for games like Far Cry 5 comparing something like 2400MHz vs 3200 or above
(2400 is more than enough) is flat wrong.

I would definitely get DDR4 at at least 3200MHz for an i7 8700K.
