How much performance will I lose if I put PCI 3.0 Into PCI 2.0 on Evga EVGA NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti SC GAMING

I want to put an EVGA NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti SC GAMING, which has PCI-Express 3.0 x16, into a motherboard with only a 2.0 express slot.
How much potential performance will be lost if I do this?
Is it worth getting a GPU with a 2.0?
