hi, i was wondering how much power i can draw from my motherboard's pci-e slot. i've a msi Z170Agaming m7 motherboard and i'm currently waiting for price to drop on 1070 (bit inflated here) but the GPU i currently have is a msi gtx 760 twin frozr (2gb). Specifications on msi's page say that the GPU draws 170W+- and i'm kinda scared to damage the pci-e by drawing too much power from it. i've heard some motherboards only support upto 75w through the pci-e.
my question: can i put the GPU in there without damaging the motherboard or the pci-e slot? does anyone know how much W this motherboard can give through the pci-e safely?
sry if i sound confusing.
