How much power for an i5 4670k, a NZXT Sentry 2, an LG DVD reader, a MSI R9 270X, 3 Corsair fans that come with cases, 4 SP120 fans, 2 sticks of 4 GB RAM, a Kingston V300 120 GB, a WD Green 2000 GB? I know that a Kingston v300 Series sucks. Would 750 watts work?

Solution

shouldn't be a problem put them into pcpartpicker.com also rmember that systems are most efficient at 50% of the powersupply max

The 270X maxs at about 180W, and an overclocked i5 4670k, even at 4.5GHz should top out at about 130W (I see that you did not list a CPU cooler, was this an oversight?) 450W will be enough, 500W plenty from a good Antec or Seasonic (and some others) PSU. 750W is a lot more than you need unless you plan to Crossfire later.
