How do I find out how much energy a graphics card (Geforce GTX 1050), a motherboard (gigabyte aorus ga-z270x-gaming 7), and an i5 intel cpu use? I need to know this so I can continue on building my computer.

Remember to build in at least an extra 25% headroom. There is no point in running a psu near its max, that is asking for trouble and noise.

Edit: The most important thing is quality. PSU watt rating can be meaningless, the lower quality units can fall very short of their claimed wattage. Make sure you check reputable reviews before buying.

Not really. It contains so many flaws it is more misleading than useful.

Wattage calculators often over estimate/ inaccurate results. The best way is to go off proffesional reviews with a system containing similar specs testing power consumption.
Which exact i5 are you using? Are you overclocking? What are the rest of your system specs?
