I would like to know how much Power Supply should i be buying for a build with the following Specs-
G4560
Galaxy GTX 1050 2GB OC (This does not require an external 6 Pin Connecter and will work on the Motherboard's Power)
B250m D2V
2*4GB DDR4 2400mhz

Well i dont really have any plan of upgrading any time soon, would it be just ok if i go with a 400w Psu?

Yeah you can go with a 400W and be fine. The reason I like the that 450W is also because it is 80+ Gold rated, almost silent at low power draw, and high quality. I have actually installed it in 2 separate builds within the last 6 months.

I wouldn't touch that PSU with a 10 foot pole. As 4745454b said it should have a 6+2pin connector if it is a 450W power supply. Not to mention this isn't even 80+ rated which means its efficiency is garbage at best. The PSU is one component that you shouldn't skimp on the cost. I have seen far too many cheap PSUs die early and take out the motherboard. Also a lot of these cheap ones don't have the safety features and can cause an electrical fire. EVGA - BR 450W is available for $30 from amazon and is from a good vendor and is at least 80+ bronze.

The only issue with the VS450 is that the platform is now 5 years old

Never-mind it's design age, it's performance and build quality are very low standard.

The EVGA BR 450 is a new platform this year.
Any evidence to that? How do we know it isn't using a 5 year old platform? There are no reviews released yet.
A power supply is bad until proven otherwise.

OP, where are you located? Which retailers do you prefer to purchase from?

Guessing from the name and the zebronics PSUs he suggested, he's most likely from the India/Pakistan region. This is probably one of those times where he needs to buy the best available to him at a good price. The VS450 might be it.

Ya, I m from India. And I see most people building PCs with the VS450, Plus thats easily available for about 2400 INR i.e. about 35$. PSUs like CX450 are about 48-50$ here. The seasonic ones are about 70$.

The Seasonic ones are great, but at 2x the price they don't really make sense unless you have the $$$. If the CX450 is the newer model with a grey/black label and not the older model with the green writing, I could see getting that one. But the VS450 isn't a horrible PSU. It's just not very good. But it's better than any Zebronics/Iball PSU.
