Hello everyone, my name is Thomas, I’ve made a parts list for a pc im going to build, but I dont know how to figure out what type of PSU I will need. Could you also tell me how to work out how much power is needed on my own so I can also check.
Here’s my current parts list:
Case: Aerocool P7-C0 Dual TG Mid Tower Case Black
Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix X470-F Gaming Motherboard
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600X with Wraith Spire
CPU Cooling: Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML240L RGB AIO Cooler
RAM: Team T-Force Night Hawk RGB 3000MHz 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 Black
GPU: ASUS GeForce GTX 1060 Turbo 6GB
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2TB ST2000DM006
SDD: Crucial BX500 2.5in SATA SSD 240GB
Case Fans (x3): Aerocool P7-F12 120mm RGB Fan
The power supply I was thinking of using is the ‘Corsair CX650 650W Power Supply’, I’m not sure that 650W is enough power for my pc. I don’t want to have a weak power supply because I’ve read that that can damage other parts of the computer.
Thanks for the help!
