I'm buying parts for my build, and I'm planning on getting an ultra wide curved display (probs the Rog Swift pg34).
Currently, my build is a single GPU(gtx 1080) and Z170 platform. I've been looking at benchmarks, and for ultrawide, the numbers seem ok, but I'm not entirely sure. If I go SLI, I know I would be safe in terms of fps and performance, but then it brings the question of, then I need to upgrade to X99/6800K and so on. I can probably budget this, but then, would 860 watts for a psu work? I ran a psu calculator and it said with that set up it comes to around 690. Is there enough headroom in my Corsair AX860i if I do change gears and go for an SLI setup??
Thanks!
