[SOLVED] How much ram can a Core Duo t5750 handle?

I have happen to have a laptop which has 2gb ram and a core duo t5750 processor clocked at 2.00ghz with 2 cores. I wanted to add an extra 2gb ram to the laptop but I dont know if the cpu can handle it or not. Any answer is appreciated!

That depends on a MoBo, rather than on a CPU.

So, look up your MoBo specs to learn the answer.

Hey there,

As they other poster has said, most of the time, it's the motherboard. If you can tell us the laptop model, we can tell better.

If your laptop has an additional socket for an extra DIMM, then you are good to go. It may be that your laptop has soldered ram, in which case, you can't upgrade it. Knowing the model will help.

I searched up the model of the laptop and saw it could handle 4gb ram. thanks for the help!
