Question How much ram can i stick in my M90 3246 I5 IBM thinkcentre?

I want to move up to 16 gigs of ram on this IBM Thinkcentre it has 8 Gigs in 2 slots and 2 open slots. The IBM web site says max 8 gigs. Can i go ahead and add 16 as 4x4 or am i maxed at 4x2?

Since it's detailed specs at Lenovo say:

Memory​
2GB standard, supports upto 8GB maximum UDIMM, PC3-10600 1333MHz DDR3, four 240-pin DIMM sockets

I would stay with 8GB.

not happy about it but i think you are correct...Its a shame because its an I5 3.2 windows 10 64 bit and should support 32 gigs but i guess the older mother board is limited.

If you have 4Gb sticks in two of the slots now I would think you could put two more 4gb sticks Identical to the other. Crucial says you can https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/comp...re-m90-(type-3246,-3544,-5384,-5474-and-6232)
What is the part number of the memory you have now?
