How much RAM do I need for gaming?

How much ram would I need for a build with a AMD Ryzen 5 1600 and a GTX 1060 6gb with a 120gb SSD and a 1TB HDD running with the B350 motherboard AM4 Chipset?

8GB would be the minimum, with 16GB becoming the new standard.
That being said, RAM prices are through the roof due to NAND shortages.
Not to mention GPU prices.

Most can get by with 8gb as long as you don't overdo it with the browser windows and lots of programs running at the same time. If you have the funds tho, I recommend 16gb to be safe and get a couple extra fps too.
