I'm no expert on PC's but I know that RAM is really important like any other component. I've been eyeing a CyberPower PC, it looks good for its value but only has 8 gigs of RAM. Should I add more? How much more? (This PC is for Gaming btw)

Solution
sizzling hit the nail on the head there! Some games use upward of 9gb system ram at 1080p sometimes even more. 16gbs is defo a good call.
if you only have 8gbs, and lets say you wanna play something like BF V, then you will hit full ram usage, and start using the swap file/page file. That can FPS drops and game stuttering.

8 is doable. 16 is foolproof. If we talk gaming only.
