How much should hdds be?

Hey, i was just wondering how much hdd's where before the price spike last year. If that had not happen, how much would a 500 gig 7200rpm drive cost normally? I just wan to know so i can look out for good prices when they do come down to normal levels.

they are normal now - depending what your looking at. Server drives will always cost a premium over desktop storage drives.

Oh, so prices are normal now? Thanks, i was just worried that if i get a hdd now, the some one will be like 20 bucks less in the next 2 months lol 😛
