How much should I be looking to spend on a 27" 1080p monitor?

Looking to get one to make a dual-monitor setup with my current 24" screen used for desktop stuff and the 27" for gaming, thus am gonna connect that one via DVI-D and have this current one remain on VGA but what price am I looking at? I might also use it for film and TV as it's the bigger screen.

I've got the iiyama G2773HS Gaming monitor, which is 27" with 1ms respondtime.
I've spend 300 euro's on it here in The Netherlands and I'm very pleased with this screen.
It wasn't one of the cheapest, but it came with a DVI and HDMI cable, all looking good.
