Otherwise like, $650. It'll be hard with these new CPUs and GPUs around.

Yup... as others said, bad timing.
With Ryzen 3 being that much better overall, and new generation Nvidia cards priced so agressively, you're in bad luck. 500-650 as said, depending on the urgency.
