[SOLVED] How much % space must be kept free to keep a SSD running as fast as new?

Solution
The widely seen rule of thumb is 70% used - 30% free.
I find you won't see much difference if it is 80% to 85% full (15 to 20% free).

At a minimum you should leave 10-15% free. Personally I stick to 20%.

PC Tailor said it. I would do 80-20 too.

However, I have one Samsung SATA SSD and the default amount Samsung Magician set aside free which they call Over Provisioning is 10%. User can change it, but it's between 1-10 percent.

This means 10% is enough too, but for this drive. Not sure if that's how Samsung Magician does it on all Samsung drives. Generally I think sticking to a 80% used 20% free arrangement is efficient.
