How much storage do I need for gaming, 3D Animation, and other general use?

Hey guys, I am planning my new build and I need to know how much HDD space I will need. I will be getting a 240GB SSD as my boot drive and for my favorite applications, but for general storage I am deciding between 1tb or 2tb. Right now I have 1tb and I only do some light gaming and other general use, and half of it is filled up. How big do 3D animation files get? Will I need 2tb? Since I am getting a 240GB SSD, will 1TB be enough? I don't know which 3D software I will be using, but have any of you guys had experience with not enough storage problems? Thanks for any help and advice!

2TG HDD would be good. And maybe more if you do a lot of 3D animation (or 3D anything) as it makes big files.

At least 1TB, but I highly recommend 2TB or more, 3D animating is quite large, and the most recent games are getting at least 10GB..
