Hey guys, so I need help deciding how much storage to get. The games that I will be playing are Overwatch, Fortnite, Unturned, Roblox, and Minecraft (Please don't judge). I will also have some other applications such as discord, skype, etc. Also, this is my first pc and I plan to keep it for a long time. Should I go for 120gb SSD and 1tb HDD? Or something like a 250GB SSD? I don't know.

A 256GB Samsung 850 Pro SATA SSD for $109 is hard to argue with.

Otherwise a 256GB Samsung 850 Evo SATA SSD for $85 is almost as good. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OAJ412U/?tag=slickdeals&ascsubtag=79d7dce8ecf411e7b879d2e5958396b20INT

Then get a 1TB 7200RPM 64GB cache HDD for all your data, and you are future-proof for quite a long time. Realistically, a 128GB SSD is not a very good value.
I have a system that runs a 120gb sdd and then about 4tb of other hdds. Ive been fine with it, and just keep the os, as well as most of my programs (as long as they dont take up a ton of space like visual studio) on the ssd, and everything else on the hard disks. So it requires being pretty tidy with your storage, if you dont want to deal with that, just go up to a 250gb ssd.

I agree that 240/250GB is the better choice now for an SSD, anything smaller turns out to be too little over the short term. You can then add as many HDDs of various sizes as needed.

This assumes that your OS is also on the SSD, if not you really don't need an SSD as it doesn't really help for gaming.

250GB SSD + whatever HDD size fits in your budget.

Price vs size favors a 250GB. A 120GB can be made to work, but you be managing the free space on it too much.
Every day, I see several people here with a 120GB drive, and no space left.
