Most people on craigslist do not look for pricy systems, and if they do look for high end ones, they are looking to spend 50-60% of the price of the new parts at most. The computer spec will run anything, unless you are just bored and want to build a new computer there is 0 reason to sell what you have now. If you want to build a new system, you may have more fun building one for your friend together with him/her.
Considering it's your friend, I would just charge what you put into it, or no more than what the replacement parts would cost. Do you want to keep it and build a new PC, or does he just want one specced out like yours?

I wanted to sell my pc on craigslist and build a new pc for myself. he say he would buy it. I spent around 1800 to build the current one. I sure can build him a new one alittle cheaper.

Now how much if I want to put it on craigslist?

Craigslist, I would easily go 10% more than you paid, so that would put you around the $2,000 mark. You could probably even go a bit higher, but my guess is that people who would buy off Craigslist aren't the type to go into a store and buy a Dell, so they're either tech-savvy enough to know about what the PC should cost or they are cheapskates who would balk at paying 2 grand for a PC.
