ok I havent got all the stuff togheter yet but i wanna know how many watt's i need for this system.

AMD athlon64 3200+
9800 PRO 128
MSI K8T neo-fis2r
160 GB HDD
DVD
(optional DVD burner in future)
maybe Led's and neon in future

how many watts should i be thinking off.

bout 400W?? or is 350W enough? less/more ??

Here's a link to wattage calculator for pc's. Check it out. Personally, I don;t go below 400 watts.

I got a quality 350 watt and have absolutely no problems. My old 350 watt psu did not deliver a stable output under stress and my pc kept shutting down. after i got this one www.chill-innovation.com i have had no more problems.

As you've got a 9800pro for that system, do look for a psu with a strong 12v rail. Many suugest no less than 18 amps. This is for stability as the vid card draws a lot of power

If they are the cheapest, chances are they aren't that great. When it comes to PSU, spend the extra $20 for one of the recommended brands listed in the faq. It'll keep you from trying to solve bizarre errors in the future.
