a but of true the i7-8700k is much more then the i7-7700k and if I go for the z370 I also need a new CPU Cooler
so if I go for that gone a be a realy long dream that I need to successful going to make happen

What for cooler will be smart to choose and I need to say I pay with euro's €

That all depends if you plan to overclock. If you think you might overclock some, but won't overclock much, this would be sufficient:

You also might consider this one as a less expensive alternative:

If you don't plan to overclock any, then there are tons of coolers under $20 that will be OK. If you want to overclock a lot though, then you should look into something high-end. It all just depends what you will do really.

you know that the hyper evo is not good for that socket its only good for 1151 not V2 what do you have more for suggests

There isn't an LGA1151 V2 socket. The Z270 and Z370 chipsets don't support the same processors due to how Intel had to configure the power system to support the extra cores on its 8th gen CPUs. The socket itself is unchanged though, so any LGA 1151 coolers will work with the Z370 motherboard just like if it were a Z170 or Z270 board.

Sorry I can't help out much with pricing in Europe though. I live in the US, and I'm not well informed on the best places to buy components outside of the US.

This will outperform that i7-7700k unless it is highly overclocked, maybe even then. No additional cooler needed. Certainly it will offer outstanding performance with any graphics card you would care to pair it with. Don't let the low base clock fool you. The i5-8400 is a six core and it tends to run no slower than 3.5Ghz if there is ANY kind of load at all, and under full load tends to stay around 3.8Ghz on all cores.

okay now I just need a CPU AND Motherboard I already have the cooler namely I didnt know that the hyper 212 evo is so good haha

and ofcourse for high-end OC I will need a bit better cooler and more watt but that is care for later NOW

I just need to choose between i5-8600k or i7-8700k

What I always saying is if you buy something expensive do it the right way

thanks @IInuyasha74 and @darkbreeze for helping still if you have any tips say it open for anything

If you are gaming only, the 8600k is fine. If you are doing any other demanding activities, streaming, encoding, recording, running other high end applications, or will be doing any kind of multitasking WHILE you are gaming, then if you can afford the 8700k it would be a pretty good idea to do so.

THANKS

Im with darkbreeze 100% on this one , that 8400 combo he listed above is easily the best price/performance if gaming is your main concern.

Id take the 8400 over the 7700k even if budget wasnt an issue.

I don't see the extra value in the 8600k , by the time ypuve added a decent cooler you could have gone locked 8700 with stock cooler - & thats a cpu that will be relevant even 5 years down the line.

what is YPUVE and I have allready a cooler

Yea the i5-8400 has plenty of performance. No overclocking, so go i5-8600K if you want that. Otherwise the i5-8400 is fine.

I'm a fan of the extra life you get out of Hyper-Threading. I feel it helps extend the amount of time I can use the system before I need to upgrade. There is more reason to go for the i7 if you will do more than just gaming, but for gaming alone, it's not necessary. But this is just my personal preference.

Deciding between the i5-8400, i5-8600K and the i7-8700K you will just need to decide based on your budget and what you plan to use the PC for.

Happy building :)

okay but I look to a few website to buy this like stuff in my regio its like https://www.coolblue.nl/product/795454/intel-core-i7-8700k-coffee-lake.html and on a atcher website it is https://www.amazon.de/Intel-i7-8700K-Processor-Taktfrequenz-L3-Cache/dp/B07598VZR8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1519052963&sr=8-1&keywords=i7-8700k+processor

A few euro cheaper does that also mean that the performance is less good seems weird but i just wanna check it by you guys

is the performance the same and it is on that website a bit cheaper and same quality

Any of those boards, and any of those Coffee lake cpus, will do what you want/need them to do. The more cores/threads it has, the longer it will likely be serviceable for you. If the only major consideration is that it does what you need it to do NOW, and gaming is the primary consideration, then the i5-8400 is the best choice. If you want as many years as possible out of it, or are doing encoding, then you likely will want the 8700 or 8700k.

It really is as simply as that. Factor in whether you can truly afford a specific choice, and you will know which model to get.
